Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology is the first Agriculture University of 21st century. The university came into existence after bifurcation of the state of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2000 and since then it is ever expanding and consolidating its experiences at every stage of growth. Our university is the first agriculture university with a full fledged College of Biotechnology.

Admission process in various degree programs of the university is very transparent and is made through the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) conducted annually.
