Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology

Department of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology is imparting theoretical and practical instructions to undergraduate students as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course Regulations of Veterinary Council of India. The department is also conducting postgraduate master (MVSc) and doctoral (PhD) degree program.

  1. Mandates/ objective of the department: Department has following mandate and objectives:

Mandate:

Disseminate knowledge, latest information and technology to the students, livestock owners, field personal (Para-vets and Livestock Extension Officer), and Veterinary Officers regarding drugs use and abuses, agrochemicals and drug resistance.

Objective:

Impart quality, holistic education, and hands on training in the field of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology to the students of BVSc & AH, MVSc and  PhD

The department has well equipped laboratory facilities to impart quality practical training to under graduate students and research of post-graduate students as under:
