            Research achievements of the Department

  • Identified the technological gap in major crop production package of practices.
  • Identified the constraints in the adoption of  recommended farming  practices.
  • Identified the training needs of farmers on various aspects of crop production.
  • Identified the entrepreneurial activities of the farmers.
  • Identified the extent of adoption of recommended farming practices.
  • Identified the communication behavior of various farming communities.

Extension activity :

  1. Dr. R.N. Yadav, Dr. D.K. Singh and Dr. L.B. Singh have participated in farmers training “Crop Waste      Management” and delivered lectures on sugarcane paddy and wheat Crops Waste Management Dated on    25-02-2022. This training programme was organize by KVK Chittoradh Muzzaffarnagar IInd held from 22- 02-2022 to 29-02-2022.
  2. Individual consultancy given by the faculties of the department of the Agri. Extn. & Comm. regarding       various aspects on crop production like sugarcane rice, pulse, wheat and oil seeds crop to the farmers came       in the department and over the telephone.
  3. Advisory services have provided by the faculty of the department in different Extension activities organize       by the Line Department and Directorate of Extension to the farming community through training meeting    and goshthies. 
  4. During the year 2021-2022 Departmental faculties helped several farmers by diagnostic their field   problems, through telephonic conversation and advising them for the remedial solution of their specific     problems.
  5. Participation in kisan mela and performed duty assigned by higher authority.
  6. Give advice to the people of society for awareness about different type of pollution sanitation, plantation    and water harvesting under the NSS Programme.
  7. Impact analysis of farmers fair organized by University Through farmers government employees and stall       owners.
